The North Sevier Wolves will challenge the Rowland Hall Winged Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.
North Sevier is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They strolled past Millard with points to spare, taking the game 74-57. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

North Sevier relied on the efforts of Brody Bulloch, who went 13-for-22 on his way to 28 points and eight rebounds, and Efrain Bernardino, who went 7-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 25 points and three steals. Bulloch continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played. Kade Johnson was another key player, going 5-for-10 to rack up 10 points and seven boards.
North Sevier was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Rowland Hall fought the good fight in their overtime match against Draper APA on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell to the Eagles 61-56.
North Sevier will have to contain Landen Brady as he made an impact in Rowland Hall's last game. He went 8-for-15 on his way to 21 points in addition to eight rebounds and three steals. That's the most points Brady has posted since back in February of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Luc Dowdle, who earned 20 points and eight boards.
North Sevier's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Rowland Hall, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 14-8.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: North Sevier has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 29.4 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Rowland Hall struggles in that department as they've been averaging 32.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
North Sevier was able to grind out a solid win over Rowland Hall in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, winning 57-44. The rematch might be a little tougher for North Sevier since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
