Madeira is 8-0-2 against Finneytown since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS will square off against the Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Madeira has four straight wins, Finneytown has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Madeira lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Middletown, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Thursday's match. The MUSTANGS/AMAZONS blew past the Middies 10-2 on Thursday. With that victory, the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS brought their scoring average up to 6.4 runs per game.
Keegan World and Nate Hyland made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, World pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Hyland struck out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. At bat, World went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double, while Hyland went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Finneytown lost 8-2 to Madeira on Wednesday.
Finneytown saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cameron Mefford, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Another was Dominick Schoff, who earned three stolen bases.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Madeira has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Finneytown struggles in that department as they've been averaging 3.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Madeira took their victory against Finneytown when the teams last played on Wednesday by a conclusive 8-2 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the MUSTANGS/AMAZONS since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
