The Fredericksburg V Victory's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They received a tough blow as they fell 49-35 to Spirit HomeSchool. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Fredericksburg V of the 63-31 defeat they experienced in the two teams' previous head-to-head fixture two weeks ago.
Fredericksburg V lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chris Jones, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Jones is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Ben Arndt, who scored six points along with eight rebounds.
