The Rogers Vikings's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their 13th straight loss. They took a 51-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Barrington. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rogers in their matchups with Barrington: they've now lost nine in a row.
Isys Dunphy was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds for Barrington. Dunphy continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Madison Gill, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Rogers' loss was their sixth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-17. As for Barrington, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 14-5.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Classical the next time they take the court. Barrington will host Classical at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Rogers will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
