Make it six blowout wins for the St. Paul Catholic Falcons this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Derby 55-20 on the road. Winning may never get old, but St. Paul Catholic sure is getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
St. Paul Catholic pushed their record up to 10-1 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. They've been dominating during the contests in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 30.33 points. As for Derby, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Paul Catholic will take on Seymour at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seymour will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Connecticut Rankings (they are ranked 61st, while St. Paul Catholic is ranked 12th). As for Derby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Watertown at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
