Kalida lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Columbus Grove, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Wildcats put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 12-6 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Wildcats have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Kalida is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games. As for Columbus Grove, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-5.

Coming up, Kalida will head out to face off against Coldwater at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Columbus Grove, they will face off against Shawnee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
