Having struggled with three defeats in a row, American Leadership Academy turned things around against Summit Academy on Friday. They put the hurt on the Bears with a sharp 17-7 victory. That looming 17-7 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Eagles yet this season.
Justus Brost was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run over 5.1 innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with two doubles and two RBI. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March.
