Despite the loss, Kingsway Christian still got an impressive performance from Eli Owens, who scored 7 points along with 7 rebounds and 6 steals. Rhys Bischoff was another key contributor, scoring 6 points.
Kingsway Christian has fallen quite a ways from their 28-12 record last season and are now at 1-5. As for Gospel Haven Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
