The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Burton Adventist Academy has scored all season.
Despite the loss, Burton Adventist Academy saw an underclassman step up: Jadon H scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Another player making a difference was Xavier O, who scored eight points.
It was another big night for Jerran Martin, who scored 22 points along with two steals for Victory Christian Academy. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brennen Ables, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds.
This is the second loss in a row for Burton Adventist Academy and nudges their season record down to 1-5. As for Victory Christian Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
Burton Adventist Academy will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Cristo Rey Fort Worth at 7:00 p.m. As for Victory Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on Chisholm Trail Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Chisholm Trail Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.9 points per game.
