The Kennedy Eagles posted their biggest win since November 21, 2023 on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Envision Academy with a sharp 56-36 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Kennedy.
Leading Kennedy to victory were Tyler Martin and Marvin Singleton. Martin scored 16 points, while Singleton scored 18 points. Another player making a difference was Jayson Scarbrough, who scored eight points.
Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 6-14 record this season. As for Envision Academy, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kennedy and Bethel will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Envision Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Leadership Public Schools Richmond at 6:00 p.m.
