River came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.3 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Bellaire Big Reds by a score of 8-4. This was a revenge game for the Pilots: when they faced off against the Big Reds two weeks ago, they had to take a 2-0 loss.

River's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Bellaire, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River will face off against Beallsville at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pilots are facing the Blue Devils at the right time seeing as the Blue Devils are stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Bellaire, they will be taking part in a tournament against Buckeye Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
