Last Saturday, Camp Point Central humbled Carrollton with a 46-6 victory. With Camp Point Central ahead 40-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Camp Point Central relied on the efforts of Nick Moore, who rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown, and Elijah Genenbacher, who rushed for 75 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. Moore was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 58 yards.
Meanwhile, West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia 44-7 at home. The victory made it back-to-back wins for West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs].
West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] haved a senior duo take command as Conner Turner rushed for 108 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries and Chance Little rushed for 173 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.
Camp Point Central's win was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which bumped their overall record up to 8-0. They've been dominating across those games too: they took their wins by an average of 38 points. West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

It's looking like Friday's game might have some serious battles in the trenches.
