Wake Prep Academy extended their home winning streak to four games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Harper Maxwell. The Guardians blew past the Fike Golden Demons 3-0 on Thursday for which the team can thank Maxwell, who had 16 assists and two aces. Maxwell is crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 15 every time she's taken the court this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-21, 25-14.

Wake Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Fike, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Coming up, Wake Prep Academy will square off against Washington County at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Fike, they will challenge Rocky Mount at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Golden Demons their first taste of in-conference action this season.
