Leander Gets a Boost from Mitchell in 44-35 Victory
Starting off the list is Leander's Logan Mitchell, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Mitchell rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns.
Leander now has a winning record of 3-2. A feisty cat fight will be fought when Lions faces off against Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Keaton Gordon Turns in Season-Best Effort
Glenn came up short on Friday despite Keaton Gordon delivering his best game to date. Gordon rushed for 133 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, and also caught a touchdown. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run.
Glenn is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3. Gordon and Glenn will square off against Lake Belton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Another Game with at Least 108 Rushing Yards from Jett Walker
On Friday, Georgetown got the W thanks in part to Jett Walker playing the best football he has all season. Walker's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 108 rushing yards.
Georgetown's victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-1. Walker and Georgetown will head out on the road to challenge Rouse at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Underclassman David Cooper Major Player in Cedar Park Victory
While Friday's victory was certainly a team effort, someone pulling more than their own weight was underclassman David Cooper. He turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 60 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 117 yards and two touchdowns while completing 78.3% of his passes.
Cedar Park now has a winning record of 3-2. Cooper and Cedar Park will challenge East View at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

Morgan Posts Huge Game in 35-25 Defeat
Rounding off our Top Five is London Morgan of Rouse. Morgan threw for 308 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.5% of his passes.
Rouse's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-3. Morgan and Rouse will square off against Georgetown at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
