After flying high against the Otis Bulldogs on Friday, the Caliche Buffaloes came back down to earth. Caliche fell to Prairie 42-36. Caliche was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Prairie apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February.
Despite the loss, Caliche still got an impressive performance from Karsyn Huss, who scored 13 points along with 3 steals. Huss scored a full 36.1% of Caliche's points, the second time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Caliche's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Prairie, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Caliche's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fleming at 4:00 p.m. on December 8th. As for Prairie, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Denver Waldorf at 6:30 p.m.
