The Lincoln Lynx were the 51-37 winner over the Seeley-Swan Blackhawks when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Lincoln took a 49-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of Seeley-Swan on Friday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Lincoln has scored all season.
Lincoln's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Roegun Dietz, who scored six points along with six rebounds and three steals. Kayden Riddle was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with seven rebounds and four steals.
Lincoln's loss dropped their record down to 14-2. As for Seeley-Swan, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
Lincoln didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-3 victory vs. Granite on the 10th. Seeley-Swan has also already played their next game, a 57-48 victory against Valley Christian on the 10th.
