The McBee Panthers won the last time they faced the Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles, and things went their way on Friday too. McBee blew past Governor's School for Science & Math 84-26 at home.
McBee was led to victory by Jakari Holloman and Tyrek Wright. Holloman scored 22 points along with five rebounds and three steals, while Wright scored 22 points along with four steals. Wright is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last three games he's played. Jasson Brockington was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
McBee has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. As for Governor's School for Science & Math, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
McBee will play host again and welcome Calhoun Falls Charter, where tip off is scheduled for TBD on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in South Carolina (McBee is ranked 180th, while Calhoun Falls Charter is ranked 195th). Governor's School for Science & Math does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
