Braddock got a good showing from  Alvaro Perez, who   pitched four innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   four  hits. Perez has been consistent  recently: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Andrew Sarmiento made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
Braddock's  loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 18-7-1. As for Southridge, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-9.
As of now, neither Braddock nor the Spartans have any future games scheduled.
