Morgan Sutryk was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 14 batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and not a single walk). She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in two of her five plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
