Crosbyton never let their opponents score on Saturday. Everything went their way against the Morton Indians as the Crosbyton Chiefs made off with  a  16-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Chiefs, who have now won five matchups by seven  runs or more  so far this season.

Another player making a difference was  Ava Reyna, who  scored two  runs and  stole  Six bases. while  getting on base  in both of her plate appearances.
 Crosbyton  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .857. That's the best  OBP they've posted all season.
The  victory made it two in a row for Crosbyton and  bumps their season record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Morton,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-8.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crosbyton will have some time to savor their  win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Petersburg at 4:00  p.m.  on March 25th. As for Morton, they will challenge Seagraves at 5:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Morton has given up an average of 15.4 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week.
