The Brackenridge Eagles won the last time they faced the Edison Golden Bears, and things went their way on Friday too. Brackenridge walked away with a 45-37 win over Edison. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brackenridge.
Isaiah Cardona was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. The match was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Javi Solis was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Brackenridge's win ended a four-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 10-14. As for Edison, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Jefferson the next time they take the court. Brackenridge will head out to face Jefferson at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while Edison will host them at 2:30 p.m. on January 9, 2024.
