You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Wayne on Tuesday. They strolled past the Pierce Bluejays with points to spare, taking the game 41-22. The 41-point effort marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Wayne's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaxson Kneifl, who posted 12 points. Colson Nelsen was another key player, putting up 13 points.

The victory made it two in a row for Wayne and bumps their season record up to 20-5. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 9-15 Pierce and 9-14 Pierce. As for Pierce, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-15.

Coming up, Wayne will take on Boys Town at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pierce does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
