Skutt Catholic is 6-1 against Columbus since March of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Skutt Catholic will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Columbus at 5:00 p.m. Skutt Catholic is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.5 runs per game this season.

Columbus will be up against a hot Skutt Catholic squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. Skutt Catholic skirted past Canute 6-4.

Braxtyn Blank-Jimenez looked comfortable as he struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk).

On the hitting side, Nate Christensen was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Christensen is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Cooper Smith, who went 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Columbus and Lincoln Southwest had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. Columbus took a 7-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lincoln Southwest on Monday. The Discoverers haven't had much luck with the Silver Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Columbus saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Easton Bell, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Skutt Catholic's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Columbus, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Skutt Catholic took their win against Columbus when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1. Does Skutt Catholic have another victory up their sleeve, or will Columbus turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
