Even though Columbia scored an imposing 57 points on Saturday, Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech still came out on top. Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech took down Columbia 73-57.
Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech relied on the efforts of Saleem Hudson, who scored 19 points, and Zachary Campbell, who scored 22 points. The game was Campbell's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Haneef Davis, who scored 10 points.
Meanwhile, Imhotep Charter didn't have too much trouble with Overbrook at home on Thursday as they won 64-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Imhotep Charter.
Their wins bumped Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech to 4-0 and Columbia to 1-2.
Things could have been worse for Murrell Dobbins Vo-Tech, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-51 loss to Imhotep Charter in their previous meeting back in February.
