After flying high against Darlington last Friday, Lower Richland came back down to earth. The Diamond Hornets fell 27-14 to the Crestwood Knights on Friday. The Diamond Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.
Lower Richland's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Solomon Kelson, who rushed for 111 yards, and Jordan Hargrave, who threw for 47 yards and one TD. Kelson showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 53 yards.
Calvin Wofford continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Crestwood, rushing for 125 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. The Knights are undefeated when Wofford posts 80 or more rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise.

As for Crestwood, they will square off against Wilson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
