Juhnke Posts Huge Game in 28-8 Win
Starting off the list is Joliet's Kaden Juhnke, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Juhnke threw for 122 yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 36 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2023.
Juhnke must have Shepherd's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Juhnke saw the Mustangs), he threw for 249 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes, and also rushed for 40 yards.

Kooper Beard Turns in Season-Best Effort
Huntley Project was led to victory by Kooper Beard, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Beard rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries, and also picked up 57 receiving yards and a touchdown, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process.
On the season, Beard has caught those 1 touchdown while averaging 25 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 9.83 receiving yards per game.

Grady Schmidt Delivers Electric Effort Vs Colstrip
Grady Schmidt put up the most rushing yards he's had since back in September of 2023 on Friday. He rushed for 151 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.9 yards per carry.
Schmidt will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant performance when he faces off against Shepherd on Friday. Schmidt will face off against Connor Wilson on Friday, the Mustangs' star rusher. Will the matchup be decided in the trenches? We'll have our answer very soon.

While Shepherd might've come up empty on Friday, Wyatt Beddes wasn't going down without a fight. Beddes turned in nothing short of a gem, rushing for 60 yards.
Shepherd's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-4. Beddes and Shepherd will host Huntley Project at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Blake Ramaeker Delivers Best Performance of Season
On Friday, Huntley Project got the W thanks in part to Blake Ramaeker playing the best football he has all season. Ramaeker threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground.
Ramaeker and Huntley Project will take on Shepherd at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The contest will pit Ramaeker up against the Mustangs' star QB Caleb Nicholson. With so much talent on the field, fans are surely in for an exciting game. The only thing left to see is who brings home the W.
