The Laneville Yellowjackets scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Thursday. They blew past Centerville 100-46 on the road. Laneville has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 11 matchups by 21 points or more this season.
Laneville got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was De'Marea Lewis out in front who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Lewis has scored all season. Jamorian Williams was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 21 rebounds.
Several Bulldogs players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Iain Kendrick, who scored 20 points. That was a full 43.5% of Centerville's points, marking the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Teeters, who scored five points along with 15 rebounds.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Laneville will take on the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Apple Springs focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Tuesday. As for Centerville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Pirates at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Martinsville will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
