Southern Christian is a perfect 3-0 against Evangel Christian Academy since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Patriots will square off against the Lions at 6:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Southern Christian has three straight victories, Evangel Christian Academy has 13 straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Saturday, Southern Christian had just enough and edged out Tuscaloosa Home Educators 7-6. That's two games straight that the Patriots have won by just one run.

The team relied heavily on Noah Sawhill, who scored two runs while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Chatman, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Evangel Christian Academy fell victim to Hooper Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 16-0 to the Colts.

Southern Christian now has a winning record of 10-9. As for Evangel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Everything went Southern Christian's way against Evangel Christian Academy in their previous meeting back in March, as Southern Christian made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Patriots since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
