Terrebonne is 0-10 against Hahnville since April of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.
Terrebonne is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on East St. John with a sharp 22-1 victory on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
BRALYN DEHART was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. That one hit allowed gave her a new career-low. She was even better at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. What's more, she posted two RBI, the most she's had since back in February.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on KALLIE LINER, who scored four runs and stole Three bases. while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Those four runs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was JA'LISE STEWART, who went 2-for-3 with five RBI, one run, and one double.
Terrebonne hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Hahnville waltzed into their game on Wednesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They never let the Penguins get on the board and left with a 12-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won 12 matches by six runs or more so far this season.
Emma Jackson was a standout: she went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Jordyn Chaix was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while going 1-for-2.
Hahnville's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Terrebonne, their victory ended a nine-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-9.
Terrebonne suffered a grim 14-4 defeat to Hahnville when the teams last played back in March of 2024. Will Terrebonne have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other softball content.
