Five must be Lebanon's lucky number: they beat Sidney with that score not once but twice on Saturday. The Warriors beat the Yellowjackets by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 5-4. The victory was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Vincent Strickland was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases and three runs. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Christian Feldkamp, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Lebanon pushed their record up to 14-5 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Sidney, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lebanon will venture away from home to take on Turpin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Spartans' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Sidney, they will head out to challenge Northmont at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
