Chase Ward continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 34 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Gage Voyles, who scored nine points along with nine assists and eight rebounds.
When it comes to explaining why Ridgeland lost, one person who can't be blamed is John Hill. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with six rebounds and two steals. That was a full 36.6% of Ridgeland's points, marking the sixth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Isaac Mitchell was another key contributor, scoring four points.
The win (which was Coahulla Creek's third in a row) raised their record to 12-4. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 72.7 points per game. As for Ridgeland, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-6 record this season.

As for Ridgeland, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southeast Whitfield County at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Southeast Whitfield County is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
