The Tioga Pirates won the last time they faced the Westhope/Newburg Sioux, and things went their way on Saturday too. Tioga took down Westhope/Newburg 62-43. The win made it back-to-back wins for Tioga.
Kimberly Tabarez and Macy Bryans certainly did their best on Saturday to try and avoid the loss. Tabarez scored 21 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals, while Bryans scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The contest was Tabarez's fourth in a row with at least ten points.
Tioga now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Westhope/Newburg, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
Tioga will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Ray at 7:15 p.m. on December 12th. As for Westhope/Newburg, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Towner-Granville-Upham at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday.
