Miramonte found their leader in sophomore Elias Logan, who went 5 of 9 en route to 17 points and four steals. Those four steals set a new season-high mark for Logan. Another player making a difference was Preston Rguem, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.
Meanwhile, Alhambra beat Arroyo 53-45 on Saturday. The 53-point effort marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.
