The JAG Jaguars's three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Pike Road 81-51 on the road. That 30 points margin sets a new team best for JAG this season.
JAG got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ladarius Givan out in front who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. JaMicah Adair was another key contributor, scoring 23 points along with six rebounds.
JAG's win bumped their record up to 20-4. As for Pike Road, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight at home.
JAG's road trip will continue as they head out to face Lanier at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Lanier will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 145th, while JAG is ranked 24th). As for Pike Road, they will be playing at home against Marbury at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
