The Auburn Bulldogs will be playing at home against the Nebraska City Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.
Last Friday, Auburn humbled Falls City with a 42-13 victory. Auburn's offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.
Maverick Binder continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 136 yards and four touchdowns on only 12 carries. Binder is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nixon Ligouri, who threw for 43 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes.
Meanwhile, Nebraska City earned a 36-28 win over Syracuse on Friday.
Their wins bumped Auburn to 6-2 and Nebraska City to 5-3.
Auburn came up short against Nebraska City in their previous matchup back in October of 2022, falling 10-0. Will Auburn have more luck at home instead of on the road?
