Mount Olive proved they can win big on Friday (they won by 13) and on Saturday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Hanover Park Hornets 8-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Marauders have posted since April 19th.

Mount Olive has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.4 runs over those games. As for Hanover Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mount Olive will challenge Phillipsburg at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Hanover Park, they will square off against Whippany Park at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
