San Benito has not won a game since January 5th, a trend which continued on Friday. San Benito and La Joya played to a 2-2 draw, good for one point each. That draw made it three straight for San Benito.
They avoided a loss thanks to
Modesto Cortinas and
Alexis Morales who posted.
San Benito's draw makes their record 4-2-3 on the season. As for La Joya, their draw moved theirs to 2-2-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Benito will square off against Pharr-San Juan-Alamo at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. La Joya on the road again on Friday and play against Los Fresnos at 8:00 p.m. on January 26th.
