The San Fernando Tigers had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Panorama on Monday and snuck past 57-55. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
San Fernando's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaiah Cabrera led the charge by scoring 18 points. Another player making a difference was Victor Marin, who scored 13 points.
San Fernando's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-12. As for Panorama, they bumped their record down to 3-14 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight at home.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. San Fernando will take on Sylmar at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Sylmar focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 last Saturday. As for Panorama, they will be playing at home against Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
