Anderson hasn't had much luck against Weiss recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Trojans will head out to square off against the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. Anderson is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt wants to keep things rolling.
On Thursday, Anderson humbled Lockhart with a 56-22 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won seven matchups by 21 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Anderson to victory, but perhaps none more so than Mason Randolph, who threw for 270 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per attempt, and also punched in one TD on the ground. What's more, Randolph racked up 144.1 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Anderson also got a significant boost from Caleb Crenshaw, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 125 yards.
Anderson didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Lockhart to a completion percentage of just 40%. The Trojans weren't nearly as limited: they posted one of 66.7%.
Anderson's defense didn't let the opposing QB, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece.
Meanwhile, there was early excitement for Weiss after they claimed the first score on Friday, but it was College Station who ended up claiming the real prize. The Wolves took a 35-31 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Despite 85 more yards than the Cougars, the Wolves couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Anderson will need to focus on slowing down Jaxon Schad, one of several Weiss players who made an impact when they last played. He threw for 427 yards and a pair of TDs while completing 71.1% of his passes, and also rushed for 37 yards and two scores. With that strong performance, Schad is now averaging an impressive 312.7 passing yards per game. Jordan Ibn Anderson-El also helped out as he racked up 214 receiving yards.
Weiss' loss dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Anderson, their record is now 9-0.
Anderson was taken down by Weiss 38-9 when the teams last played back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Schad, who threw for 171 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 41 yards and one score.
