Chagrin Falls won the last time they faced Lakeside and things went their way on Friday too. The Chagrin Falls Tigers breezed past the Lakeside Dragons to the tune of 68-34. Given the Tigers' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 293rd, while the Dragons are ranked 752nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Chagrin Falls' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Oscar Difranco, who posted 13 points and four steals. Jacob Kay was another key player, going 5-for-6 on his way to 12 points and three steals.

Chagrin Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a massive bump to their 14-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.2 points over those games. As for Lakeside, their loss dropped their record down to 4-18.

Coming up, Chagrin Falls will be playing at home against Aquinas at 7:00 p.m. on February 22nd. As for Lakeside, they will square off against Garfield Heights at 3:00 p.m. on February 22nd. Garfield Heights will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Lakeside surely won't give up without a fight.
