North Pointe Prep won the last time they met up with Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, and they shouldn't regret having come to the reunion, either. North Pointe Prep were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Scottsdale Preparatory Academy 52-14. North Pointe Prep were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
North Pointe Prep started the match off right with 30 first-half points. Scottsdale Preparatory Academy wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 7 to make it 30-7 heading into the break. The North Pointe Prep defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 0 and all but finishing the game.
Next week North Pointe Prep take on Red Rock at 7:00 PM. Unlike North Pointe Prep, Red Rock will be limping in after taking a loss. As for Scottsdale Preparatory Academy, they will face off against Antelope. Backed by three consecutive blowout victories, Antelope are looking for someone to give them a challenge; hopefully Scottsdale Preparatory Academy will step up.
