The Amelia Academy Patriots lost against the Kenston Forest Kavaliers back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Amelia Academy was outmatched by Kenston Forest on the road and fell 71-27. Amelia Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 51-9.
When it comes to explaining why Amelia Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Troy Hill. Despite the final result, he scored 17 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hill has scored all season.
Amelia Academy dropped their record down to 1-6 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Kenston Forest, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
