If the Fyffe Red Devils were feeling good off their 58-14 takedown of the Collinsville Panthers last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Fyffe took a serious blow against Sand Rock on Tuesday, falling 58-28. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Fyffe in their matchups with Sand Rock: they've now lost seven in a row.
Leading Sand Rock to victory were Kennedy Henderson and Katelyn St.clair. Henderson dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 rebounds, while St.clair scored 23 points along with five rebounds and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Zoey Handy, who scored eight points.
Fyffe's defeat dropped their record down to 16-13. As for Sand Rock, they pushed their record up to 24-7 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home.
Fyffe does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Sand Rock also has no future games currently scheduled.
