West Forsyth is a perfect 3-0 against Northwest Guilford since September of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Titans will be playing in front of their home fans against the Vikings at 7:00 p.m. West Forsyth is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.
West Forsyth barely beat Parkland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans claimed a resounding 53-0 victory over the Mustangs. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won seven matchups by 28 points or more so far this season.

West Forsyth didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Parkland to a completion percentage of just 26.3%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from two players: Nicholas Goodrum and Neziah Sprinkle, who each logged two passes deflected. West Forsyth has been improving in that area: they had allowed a completion percentage of 0.61 earlier this season, but they've only allowed one of 0.61 in their last three games.
West Forsyth didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Goodrum and Daviel Eldridge. Goodrum got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Meanwhile, Northwest Guilford earned a 13-6 win over R.J. Reynolds on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Demons: they've now won five in a row.
West Forsyth better focus on containing Easton Dean and Adam Reavis as the pair were huge in Northwest Guilford's win. Dean rushed for 152 yards and one TD while picking up 8.0 yards per carry, while Reavis picked up 85 receiving yards and one touchdown.
Northwest Guilford picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 3-7. As for West Forsyth, their record now sits at 8-2.
Friday's game might be decided in the trenches. West Forsyth has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 228.6 rushing yards per game. It's a different story for Northwest Guilford, though, as they've been averaging only 64.3 rushing yards. How will they fare against such a dominant running game?
Everything came up roses for West Forsyth against Northwest Guilford when the teams last played back in October, as the team secured a 35-0 victory. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
