The Cypress Creek Bears will square off against the Lake Buena Vista Vipers at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Lake Buena Vista will take on a team with plenty of momentum: Cypress Creek extended their winning streak to four on Tuesday. Everything went the Bears' way against Liberty as they made off with an 18-2 win.

Cypress Creek always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .710. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their OBP total in four consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Lake Buena Vista was not the first on the board on Tuesday, but they got there more often. They blew past Jones 24-7. The victory continues a trend for the Vipers in their matchups with the Fightin' Tigers: they've now won four in a row.
Aiza Khan was a standout: she went a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Dayana Jovet, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and two RBI.
Cypress Creek pushed their record up to 16-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Lake Buena Vista, their win bumped their record up to 11-12.
Lake Buena Vista's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Wednesday. Cypress Creek has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 8.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Lake Buena Vista, though, as they've been averaging an even more impressive 3.3 strikeouts. Will Cypress Creek keep running through batters, or will the Vipers buck the trend?
Cypress Creek took their victory against Lake Buena Vista in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 18-2 score. Do the Bears have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vipers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
