Cortland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Caden Albright out in front who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. That's the first time this season that Albright scored 15 or more points. Jaxson Gambitta was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with eight rebounds and three steals.
Cortland's win bumped their record up to 2-8. As for Onondaga, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cortland will challenge Westhill at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Onondaga, they will head out on the road to face off against Fabius Pompey at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
