Donovan got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Ty Miller out in front who scored 12 points along with 6 assists and 5 steals. Miller is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Griffen Walters, who scored 9 points along with 13 rebounds.
Several Chargers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Michael Adeniran, who scored 10 points along with 9 rebounds. Adeniran is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Jaden Walls was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Donovan's victory bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Illinois Lutheran, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Donovan will take on Momence at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Illinois Lutheran, they will head out on the road to face off against Beecher at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Beecher has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
