Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hernando). Their defense stepped up to hand the Tupelo Christian Prep Eagles an 8-0 shutout on Thursday. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded Hernando with their most commanding win of the season.

Their offense was hitting Tupelo Christian Prep from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal. Calvin Harrison led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by himself.

Hernando's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Tupelo Christian Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Hernando and Tupelo Christian Prep will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Tigers see the pitch they'll take on Tupelo at 7:00 p.m. on December 2. As for Tupelo Christian Prep, their break will end when they face Nettleton at 7:00 p.m. on December 2.
