The First Academy was led to victory by Brianna Garcia and Bianca Hall. Garcia scored 11 points along with eight rebounds and seven steals, while Hall scored 20 points along with seven steals. It was the first time this season that Garcia pulled down eight or more rebounds. Sophia Silva was another key contributor, scoring six points.
The First Academy pushed their record up to 14-10 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Despite that those good results, the team's offense hasn't been rolling: across that stretch, they only averaged 28.8 points per game. As for Trinity Christian Academy, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.
