Marshall Academy relied on the efforts of Malia Taylor, who scored 14 points, and Amiah Poindexter, who scored 16 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Poindexter has scored at least a third of Marshall Academy's points.
Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Pansophia Academy, who are still winless after their seventh matchup. They were beaten by Battle Creek Academy 55-22 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Pansophia Academy has suffered against Battle Creek Academy since December 10, 2019.
Marshall Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Pansophia Academy, their loss was their eighth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Marshall Academy against Pansophia Academy when the teams last played back in February of 2023 as the squad secured a 60-15 win. Will Marshall Academy repeat their success, or does Pansophia Academy have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
